I really like the warmth in this graphic which for me is at one gritty and mature whilst the colours used reinforce the reassurance implied by the pose.  The hair especially the blond is really good the fabrics nicely rendered with subtle details just so and not too fussy.  Your shading is sparing though sufficient and again informs the image well.  Many a street artist works in this similar accomplished style to good effect.  So at one, it seems for me, a simple image but it holds a hidden depth and that is suffused with real warmth and caring. :)
